When Elena and Jero meet on the other side of the world, both are in search of solitude to heal their wounds. Among the idyllic beaches and spectacular sunsets of Sri Lanka, however, they are surprised to find themselves collecting moments they never thought they’d experience.
Love catches them unaware and disrupts all their plans, but now the trip is over and they are supposed to go home – she to Madrid, he to Barcelona.  Will Elena and Jero overcome their fears and the forces trying to pull them apart?
 
This isn’t a novel about an epic romance; instead, it’s the story of love in real life, what happens after the screen flashes “The End” and the world moves in to complicate things. It’s a story about the type of love that must be fought for, which is even more scary because it’s real and may be for keeps.
